Notebooking Page: Recycling Becomes....

One last page before the weekend, so that you'll have it in plenty of time for Earth Day. (Actually, this page can be used any time of the year, it's not labeled as "Earth Day".) This is a single page about recycling, with four boxes to encourage your child to think of what can be created from recycled goods. Paper, plastic, glass and cans are represented. Research with your child about recycling, and what can be done to make new things from old, then write or draw in each space:

Here's another page about recycling that can be used for Earth Day next week, or really for any recycling subject at any time. It's titled, with a half-page of lines and a drawing space at the bottom. You could use the bottom for things that can be recycled, the process of recycling a particular object, what the world would be like if we didn't recycle, or many more drawings.
