Notebooking Page: My Family

I'm putting this page up as a "family portrait" page, but it could be used for other things - it's only limited by your imagination! This page has seven ovals, with a banner across the bottom that could be used for parents at the top, child in the middle, then siblings, pets, etc. in the remaining ovals. The page also has a lovely sketched background.

Notebooking Page: General blank page

Here is another general blank page. It features a scroll across the top and four large ovals on the page. It would be useful for illustrating steps in a process, pictures to go with different parts of a story, and much more:

Lapbook/Notebook mini-books: Hexagons

Mini-books (small folding "books") can be used in lapbooks or on notebook pages as a little extra bit to make them more interesting. Here are two sizes of mini-books in a hexagon shape. The 4-inch hexagons come two on a page while the 3-inch hexagons have three on a page.

Notebooking Page: General blank page

While playing around with Word 2000, (I have 97 on my main computer) I've been playing and practicing by creating new blank pages to get a feel for working with more shapes and such. As a result, I have several new blank pages that can be used for any notebooking purpose. This first one features a wavy banner across the top and a circle in the lower righthand corner. Use the banner for a title and the circle for a picture - since they're blank you can use them for anything that you don't already have a created page to use.

Notebooking Page: "Our Plane Ride"

Here's a little something for Sheri, who seems a little distracted this week. ;-) To save time, I put all four sizes of writing paper into one file instead of having them separated as I usually do.

Matching blank half pages, reversed

Here are the other half pages that I created to match all of our other pages. The blank space is at the top, with lines at the bottom:

**Half-Inch Primary Paper, blank space on top**

**Three-Quarter Inch Primary Paper, blank space on top**

**One Inch Primary Paper, blank space on top**

**Wide-Rule Paper, blank space on top**

Matching blank half pages

Sometimes you just want half a page for notebooking, so that your child can draw a picture or paste in a picture on the page. Here is the first of our half pages, with the lines at the top and a blank space at the bottom:

**Half-page blank paper, half-inch primary lines**

**Half-page blank paper, three-quarter inch primary lines**

**Half-page blank paper, one inch primary lines**

**Half-page blank paper, wide-rule lines**

PLEASE NOTE: I am trying out a different file hosting service. I did NOT realize that some of the ad at MediaFire.com are on the risque side. (I use FireFox's AdBlockPlus and see very few ads anymore.) Please let me know if you have any trouble with downloading any of these links.

Looking for matching, blank pages?

I realized last night that, with all the pages I've included here, I have yet to put in the blank pages that match the rest of my work!

Sometimes, you just need a plain paper. Maybe you're continuing a topic onto a second page and don't want to waste the ink and the space of printing a second copy of the themed page. Maybe you just want plain paper because you don't have a notebooking page with the theme you're covering. Whatever the reasons, here are the plain pages that match the rest of the pages here at NotebookLearning!

Notebooking Page: Blank page for poetry or other things

If you'll be working with poetry, perhaps you might like this page. It features a box down the left side with lines, and a separate set of lines down the right side. In the box, just write out a favorite poem, or your own composition, then your essay, notes, etc. on the right side of the page. This page would have other uses as well, as it is not titled and therefore not restricted to just poetry.

**Blank Poem Page**

(I'll be making other variations of this page in the coming days, just keep your eyes peeled.)
