Bird mini-books for notebooking or lapbooking

Did you know that you can use mini-books in notebooking as well as lapbooking? Of course! Just paste them on one of your notebook pages just as you would in a lapbook. You might like to use a piece of cardstock instead of regular paper, but it's not really necessary.

Here are some bird mini-books that you might like:

**Bird mini-books #1 (Cardinal, Robin, Baltimore Oriole)**

**Bird mini-books #2 (Blue Jay, Bobwhite, Brown Thrasher)**

Notebooking Page: Honey Bees

I saw my first spring bees this past weekend. Bees always make me smile because they make me think of my grandfather. He raised bees for several years and gave and sold his honey. Oh, it was SO delicious! One of my favorite things was to chew on fresh honeycomb - suck all the honey out and then chew the wax like gum afterwards. It was sooooo good.

Today's page features a keeper's hive as well as a close-up photo of a honeybee.

Page of the Day: Gardening Journal

By request, here's a journal page just in time for spring - a gardening journal page. Each page has a place for the name of the plant, date it was planted, and writing space for six week's worth of basic notes. There are also three boxes for drawing your plant as it grows, or pasting in pictures that you've taken.
